I'm still waiting to hear if they would do any more badges but just to show them off in situ

Off to our Xmas Party tonight at the Waldorf and then staying in this Five star accomadation!!
Then in the morning doing the 263 miles back to Pembrokeshire.

Well, set off from London at 2230 totally shot by Membury service so had a couple of hours in the back! Started him up and got out of the parking space and Rupert stopped!
No ignition when the key was turned, checked the Battery terminals all seemed OK the lights worked and he turned over OK! It was two thirty in the morning, freezing and dark so I thought maybe just jump in the back till light but decided it must be something to do with the ignition switch. So I was just about to hotwire him when I noticed a loose wire. Connected back up and he sprang in to life once the starter button was pressed.
Set off again and got back to Pembrokeshire about 0700. Very cold but he made it with only a little bit of persausion!
Rupert navigated well and is now sitting in the house in Wales keeping an eye on Rupert the van!

Had same thing on my Imp on Saturday evening. Been off the road since the end of Sep, got him back together on Saturday. started OK, went for a drive then lost all power but lights still worked and he turned over. Checked back of ign switch and a loose connection. Sorted in a couple of mins. Gotta love old cars!

Just got in rupert and the steering wheel was covered in a tar like substance?
Any ideas?
It took a while to clean off and seemed to be seeping from the steering wheel!

You could try pamela david enamels (google it). They do a top job (but for top money!)
