this years scottish rootes enthusiasts rally will take place over the weekend of 28/29 june.this really is not to be missed as the whole of moffat turns into a rootes showroom for the weekend.this year 800 entries are expected so its advisable to book early
theres a long road run on the saturday,entertainment on site on saturday night and rally on sunday,once youve been its guaranteed you will return every year.details

Hi Steve, how do we book and do you know where the Yorks run starts yet [?]

Hi, went to Rootes Meet at Moffat Last year, great event, In my 1970 Commer Highwayman, there were four other commer campers, and a commer express van (that won best in class), other campers were Tourstar, another Highwayman and Jennings Roadranger and a dodge. Also completed Road run, over the tops, fantastic secenery, and got round without a hitch, highly recommended, go if you can. Also went two years before, and a similar number of commers but sadly we slept in a tent, the commer stayed at home, because we were traveling on to the Isle of Skye.:)

YES, three of us are Classic Camper Members, don't know about the White Roadranger on the end, Our's is the White Highwayman (well not anymore we've sold it) to concentrate on the Calthorpe, thought it would be ready for the road this summer, but not looking likely now, so now looking for a Camper to use for shows this summer.:)
