Managed to get a few pics of the inside...lol!, its nice to see the floor again, after several months of having numerous boxes of bits n bobs and tools allover..[)]
So i mopped the lino, its come up pretty well really, today i was given a 3 way fridge that works, and even better it matches the other interior units.So i have fitted that today.
It aint looking too bad now, i have some orange and gold(yes gold) striped curtains, genuine 70's items as well.One will be hung against the back door and the other at the back of the front seats.
I have made a few mods recently, one of them is ive removed the Single seat on the N/s that formed part of an extra bed, i didnt have the middle section seating that should be laid on the table to make the bed so i thought to take it out and give me more space to play with.
The front panel has had some work done to it as well, aint took any pics though yet...

As you can see, my van has excellent ventilation....
Luckily i have another front end that will supply me with the panel i need to repair this.I shall also remove the rusty dashboard top as well.The front end i got has an excellent dash top panel and windscreen support section(thank goodness).
The O/S is fine as the photo shows, there is some minor surface rust which will be dealt with.Its a good job a brought a new windscreen rubber from Speedys.
And here you'll either love me or hate me for doing this, but seeing as i cannot source a heater mounting unit i have opted to blank the air intake off and relocate the heater unit lower down the front panel.It fits nicely under the floor which it is bolted too, behind the front grill.The pipework was easy to mount, using the holes in the chassis framework.The air piping shall feed up through a custom plate in the floor up to the windscreen.

Seems like a sensible mod to me. You can always put the grille back on for originality. I guess you will be relying on the windows for fresh air and hopefully not the lacy front panel
Just read through your mods again and noticed you have mounted it under the floor, a touch of genius [^]. Better take care the air flow to the radiator isn't restricted too much though.

I decided to tackle the rusty window area today and got more than i bargained for!!..
HAs anybody else's van gotten like this?..you better take care it dont get like this.
So i have cut out all the rotten metalwork, the neighbours by now must be hating me and my grinder!![}]...I have had to take out a large proportion of the window scuttle panel, well over half.As you can see the rust has spread right over to the O/S nearly.
Had to take out quite a lot of the dashtop and scuttle area.You can see still there is 'mucho plenty' of rotten metal to be cut out ..
After a few hours of welding it back togther carefully, the section taken from the donor front end i got it now looks like this..., its still to be finished but im pleased with the result.
I am borrowing a DA sander this week to take off all crap on the front end and get her primed for paint..it looks rough now but will soon be a happy face again!
