Well what a sh**te day its been weatherwise, having the great outdoors as my workshop hasnt made it the greatest of days for making progress.But i got the engine built back up today...
The colour might not be to everybodys taste but i like it.
Now the engine bay really looks terrible!!, im gonna have to deal with that.The rust isnt bad , its surface rust.
I managed to finish the radiator as well today, it looks better now, it isnt exactly 'concours' but i like it, the photos a but crap though [V]
It was getting dark just as i was going to fit the new points and condenser to the dizzy, so i have left that for another day..
Just waiting for the carb overhaul kit and i can get her running again!

Well, today i managed to spend a few hours on her..looking back at the photo of the engine compartment you can see the metalwork and paint is really s***te..so ive stripped all that paint off and taken it back to bare metal ready to paint..
I could have her running, the carbs on and everything else but i still need to paint the radiator shrouding up and connect the gearbox oil cooler up.
And anyway dismantled the carb linkage today that bolts to the radiator, taken all that thick grease and crap off it and painted it up.Might fire her up monday!
