I know it's a dad thing like putting old batteries in the drawer and trying them months later expecting to find them miraculously re-charged. :)
 
i had a mk 4 cortina ghia black vinyl roof,for a year, was great fun,but as i had only had a driving licence short time cost a fortune to ins [8D]
 
i had a 2000e mrk 3 cortina you know the coke bottle shaped one it was a cracking car ,burnt orange was the colour with a vynal roof
 
If we're going down memory lane let me go straight to the bottom. Talking about coke bottle sides my first car was a Viva HB SL90 resplendent in Rover Tobacco Leaf brown, how un-PC is that. It was originally reddy orange [xx(]
 
while bringing the kids up i only had a bike licence so i bought a 3 wheeler reliant rialto went like a rocket :D
 
Now your're talking, I had a Reliant Ant up to 18 months ago, sold it to same guy that bought the post office van. But I didn't buy that back again.:D
