Cheers guys. We love her to death, and really enjoy being out in her. She's a really comfy van to spend a few days in. As to the curtains etc, nothing beats my mum and a sewing machine when she gets going.

That's what i thought Panky. I feel like a tramp when we camp HAHAHA! Infact, only today did i clear the van out from last week. Love Pootle;)

Well, all this rain has depressed us so we're taking a week off and heading to....Norfolk for some sun:D
We'll be keeping our fingers crossed for some decent weather. I'm taking my swimming shorts anyway (ever the optimist).

Well it's been a long time since the last post. Since then we've had a few trips out but Pootle has spent most of the winter wrapped up away from the cold, and I've had just the odd few bits of maintenance to do, although we have had an occasional sit and cup of tea with her.

Took her out for a little spin today and apart from a pop or two from the carb, she behaved herself perfectly.

We have had our minds on other things, like getting the house ready for a new arrival....

Claire is now six months pregnant[:0][:0][:0][:0][:0][:0][:0][:0][:0][:0][:0][:0][:0][:0][:0]

Needless to say, we are very happy:D and excited!

Which means that i am going to have to think about how to strap both Claire and a baby seat into the cab. I've had a look at other threads of the forum about fitting extra seats etc, but without finding any solutions. With it being a coachbuilt, it seems quite difficult to fit seats with belts to the rear. Ideally, I'd like to find another seat like the ones we've got (below) and fit it to the engine cover (if that is actually possible??).

If anyone has a similar seat, and wants to sell it, please drop us a line, or if anyone has any advice about solutions to fitting extra seats, I'd be glad to hear!

The only other option was Claire's suggestion that we strap a baby seat in to the passenger seat, and Claire would travel in the back. I don't know if this is legal[?], but fairly sure that it isn't very safe!

As for the seat they where fitted to the engine cover and you might get lucky, they do come up occasionally.

We are getting quite excited, and i have this feeling that things are never gonna be the same again, hence my desire to get a centre seat so we can carry on using Pootle.

I'll wait and see if Bazil reads this as my PM's don't always seem to work, (that's if he still has the seat). If not, i'll keep on looking.

sorry can't help with the middle seat at the moment unless you want to swap Pootle for The Colonel,but some how I think I might be needing his middle seat,one will turn up ;)

Congratulations! Pretty sure that baby seat in front and Claire in the back is legal - Nathan does it this way :)
