Hi can anyone tell me the replacement distributor for electronic ignition is it a 25d or other?. Van up and running been down the street and back mission complete

Both 25 and 45's were fitted and even Ducellier to later vans. I actually used the Accuspark 25D off my Morris Minor when the Simon bbc electronic module failed in Harvey and it's been in ever since.

I think the number is stamped on dizzy? I got Acuspark dizzy and I tried to fit it but it didn’t work. I think I may have crossed the polarity when faffing about and blew the innards. Ordered more innards and going to get garage to fit it today with the fuel pump and pipe as it needs it’s annual safety inspection and service.

Hi all update.... Van started right up after work for about 10 sec then just cut out (no spark) left it 30 min and it started again for the same time going to try a new point, condenser kit just to see if that works till his new distributer kit arrives. Will keep you all posted

Quick update... still waiting on parts for engine so started undoing things that you all will know at patience, unfortunately the years of being left and water getting in has not been good for all the hard work that has been done. Iv spent a couple of nights reading everything on this forum about the poor van and Paul and how there are still good people that all chipped in one way or another and it is gut wrenching to see the state patience has become over the years and I think I owe it to get bluey patience and everyone that was involved to finish what was started if not better with a twist. What do you all think. Lifter the cover on the roof today and there it is metallic brg IMG_20230602_182555.jpgIMG_20230602_182630.jpgIMG_20230602_190048.jpgIMG_20230602_211135.jpgIMG_20230602_182613.jpgIMG_20230602_182828.jpg

It was a gorgeous colour but it's time to put your own mark on it, stick with the blue or something else you've always fancied. But I think the interior is probably only fit for patterns unfortunately :(

All systems go measured up for curtains and seats, picked a teal material colour with black out white backing for curtains and 4 " firm foam for seating with same teal material, order is in just need to get wood work sorted and replaced at bits but on a positive I now have somthing big enough to pick up the ply sheats lol

Been a busy boy this week, finally got to the wood shop for ply for replacing and repairing , pre cut fire resistant foam for sitting area 4" tryed and tested and now away to get covers made with matching curtains in teal, foil insulation for side panels since its in bits, we are having issues with colours for the worktops ans I will make new ones with formica surfaces possibly burnt orange, and last floor will be a retro linoleum style possibly dodgy pattern lol so this is the plan. Patience is running great done about 40 miles now so now parked up for oil and filter change with some good stuff 20/50 oil with added stabiliser. Trying to source window tracks for side windows finding it hard with the 7mm gap if anyone knows it would be much appreciated. IMG_20230616_165509.jpgIMG_20230610_164313.jpgIMG_20230610_164329.jpg
