Blimey Scott!!!

well done that man[8D][8D]

See what i was talking about now mate[?][?]...once you pluck up the courage and make a start, it really isn't that hard, and the more you do, the more confident you will get[8D][8D]

looking VERY nice mate:D

Thanks peeps;) you right Colin but i'm still not tackling big stuff, ya know, like engines and things. It's just cosmetics really. Also, Bex has made the new rising roof inner lining[^] it means that we are in complete darkness even on a sunny day;) plus it's thermal which will keep out the morning dew and chill. Seriously, i never realised that the lining was so huge, it was like she was making a boat in our living room. Bex should start offering her services as she is getting soooo good at doing such things on the sewing machine now. Scrutinise it at the meet and see for yourselves. She's very shy mind you and doesn't accept praise easily.

Loving the white/cream? coverings, makes the interior look much more airy. The trick key is also very cool, make sure you don't snap it!

All it needs is a confidence boost - and you and Bex have had just that. You just don't know what you are capable of until you try - and it's oh so satisfying[^]

And that's about it apart from general tinkering and polishing old fittings to a brilliant shine ( Which takes ages by the way if anybody is thinking of doing it too? )

Things are coming on. Just nice to have some nice weather to get stuck in;)

We never did see this new bed design?? Where are the pics we want to see them with its plywood in all its glory:p:p;)

Oh yeah, i never did show you! Well it's such a simple solution although a little unorthodox. It now makes the bed 6ft 5ins which is ace. Still have a few things to finish off yet so i will upload pics as a bundle when i'm done. Hopefully this weekend;)

Hiya Scott.
Love the new look of the van, especially the floor. When you were sticking the tiles down, did you use an adhesive spray? And how well did the tiles stick down? We were looking at some self-adhesive tiles but i was wondering if they would stick to the chip board floor that's lurking below our horrible green carpet, or if i need to coat it in anything first?
Give our regards, to Bex

Hey hey Matt,

Thanks for that buddy. We got the tiles from Madmatz. They come with glue and polish and are very reasonabaly priced we thought. Yeah it's a Darksider's company but the chap is ever so friendly;) and yes they go straight down on the chipboard;) just make sure that you don't have any nails or other obstruction on the boards when you lay them obviously. Regards to yourself and Claire.
