Hi guys,
Been to see this old girl in the flesh (metal) and as we all know the Maidstones are lovely and she is no different.
I have takin the odd pic hopefully I can put them up tomorrow when eves not using the main computer forceing me to write this on my iPad.
So good points, the engine sounds like she wants to go for a long run across the country, the in side looks like its not been touch since 83 when it was last taxed, the under neath looks strong with no holes or high rust. Most of the rubber seals around the windows and roof look in good condition and the main good point is she looks like she has a great personality. The down side are my welder came with me and thinks tho all can be replaced/repaired etc there is a lot to be done on the external body. The rear above the door is probably the worst repair that is needed. I think taking the work that is needed with the price she is already up to I might be pushed out of the running for her. Barry the seller was a nice guy and said he will let the auction run its time hopefully I will see him again to pick her up but not confident. Plus Barry said he had extra pics of her being pulled out of the barn so if you read this Barry could you put some of them up for us. Hopefully are have my pics for you tomorrow.
