Van was registered new in New Zealand on 5th September 1967 with original rego CV8261 . Chassis No 386195 Engine No: 219388G2 Last recorded WOF (MOT) 2006 Full NZ history available

Van is now being collected on Friday and MOT booked for Monday.....

Yeah, fingers crossed! I've managed about 5 weekends off this year so hopefully the camper will enforce a few more rather than it gathering dust!
I'm not around so I'll not see it until next week which is annoying! The guys who collected it and the guys at the garage have said it's immaculate, even my dad who has been down to see it loves it (and he's been there for the past 2 vans and all the issues with the first van!). I'm told the engine wouldn't fire up but I believe it has now and sounds great - a small oil leak to be looked at but excellent overall!

! Lorraine can start her test driving at the old airfield, that's the old, wide, traffic free airfield . Our initial insurance quote with a guaranteed value (just off the chasis number until registered) came in at £112 for us both which was a nice surprise.
That does look nice, pity I couldn't find the right container! Are you going to leave the front grill like that in recognition of its life down under?
