Oh Panky, your so much cooler now your flipping like the cool kids! This has a rebuilt 1725 with alloy head as well as the rebuilt overdrive so that'll do me - keep it as standard as possible so as not to upset anyone ;).
 
Great that someone has put so much time into a Commer, only Pablo does similar. I need to know how that air suspension is put on... I'm convincing the missus i need it too get in the garage without letting the tyres down :D

It will be cheaper than a new garage roof, honest:D
 
I love the wheels but they are 13" so it over revs. It'll need bigger wheels or a taller diff - Phil mentioned a diff from a Snipe as a possible swap?

I'll swap you for a nice set of standard steels;)
Or you could go for a Rover P5 axle if you cant find the Snipe item.
 
I've an original awning which I need to pick up in a few weeks from the chap I got the other van from - that'll tone it down a bit Panky ;)
 
Haha, thats been bugging me. I only noticed it this evening to be honest - I have no idea but I will ask and let you know. Hadn't considered a bottle opener, but could well be.

Hi Doug, the rear is sealed. It was before the work was undertook. Supposedly there is a few in New Zealand that are like this, though I can't say I have seen any over here the same? I like it though, gives you much more scope in the back.
 
No secret compartment then:(
It would be cool if you could convert it to a bottle opener though;)
