My Ride Needing A Makeover

Clarabel is now running well and has just completed a local 'Tractor Run' with Hazel Matt Thomas and Evie May enjoying the Summer sunshine.Fingers crossed most (just need a new light switch) electrical problems seem to be ok now following a new upgrade alternator, another new sports coil mounted under the seat a new dizzy -well timed using the same strobe and dwell meter that the local garage used on her over 25 years ago - combined with the MOT exhaust emmisions reading Clarabel now runs like a Rolls Royce and doesn't sound a bit like a Tractor any more (hope they don't ban her from the local runs!) Looking forward to the Ivinghoe meet and The NEC - Hope to see many of you there. Mike

Well done Mike for being so determined, my money was on a faulty alternator. Many years of Rolls Royce like meandering to come[8D]

If you look at the same tree 23 years later in the August 2012 photo you will see it's still at the same angle! Only the colour of the drivers hair has changed! ps - My total drink consumption in the last 23 years was a pint of lager shandy on my 60th and again in August (from the same pot which has been there now for 43 years! Mike

From the same pot -but not the same lager shandy! They look after the pot because of my patrons donation to the Langdale Mountain Rescue Team- A worthy cause! Mike

They come up occasionally:) I'll keep my eyes open for one.
