My Ride Needing A Makeover

Stripped the bottom end of the engine today, looked ok at first, but stuck rings on 2 pistons and the crank a bit suspect [V]

Nice work Martin, shame about the crank but if anybody's likely to have a spare handy ...

ps. these pics help me understand my recent garage quote for the Holbay work I need. No way I could even make a start myself ...

Martin, When you repair the peak sections and roof above the gutter line do you completely seam weld it or do you just do regular tacks and fill it with some sort of sealant?
I am in the process of completely seam welding mine and grinding them all flat but it is a tedious and long job for someone with rubbish welding skills :(

I just went back to page 1 too, and yes, Hazel's van is going to be the prize winner at Martin's for sure. Either this one or Bass's van!
