and i thought that basses was badly rotten i think they are in very similar condition, i will take some more pics tomorrow of the roof excetra to compare the rot.:D

superb, looks like its well on its way now. The worst part is finding the rot, after that its just a matter of fixing it!

I'd love to have the space and facilities that Martin has - it makes all the difference!

Hazel, You're ride's in good hands!

It's easy finding the rot, just look and it's there - everywhere [:0]

hes keeping it a bit like area 51. the doors are locked and will fly open on the last day to reveal a master piece.:p;) can we have a sneak preview[?].

ive noticed by looking inside the back of hazels van that it is the same as basses van ,for some reason the strenghtener barrs have been removed from the main side body panels. but in the back of my camper on my drive they are still intacted or in place. anyone know why these would have been removed. im going to put them back into basses van to give more strenght again as the side panels feel a bit wimpey.:p;)[?]

it probably depends on the conversion. I was amazed at how much modificaiton of the shell has gone on with Jessica's (autosleeper) conversion.

you would be surprised at how much strenght it takes away though .mine is much stiffer on the sides as appossed to basses. thats why they are going to go back in.;)

I think they are there to stop the large side panels 'drumming'. If you have furniture and insulation stuck to the sides then it makes them kinda redundant:I

Keeping it under wraps [}:)] Seriously though, been waiting for a comlete side panel [:0] Now arrived, so I can get going again :)

First throws of a complete rear roof section, should be finished by the end of the weekend :)
