Lovely pick up! Can't see for sure from the photo, is it the standard pick up or builders? Nice to know there are more of them around. I had the pick up from Steve last year, so is mine the other one he had or has he had 2 since mine? Mine's been absolutely fine, really good honest truck, MOT time now coming up so fingers crossed!
I would love to hear from anyone who has a pick up, it would be nice to know how many are still around.

Pickup now up the road. Put a battery in it and it started first press of the button. Ran round the yard ok.

Are you sure theirs no lasting damage PankyDidn't half crack my head on the I beam when I stepped round the front of the truck
No lasting damage though - it was only me bonce

Removed the fuel tank today cleaned out fuel lines. Refitted tank and cleaned out carb. Changed engine oil and filter. Air filter and gearbox oil. Will change diff oil tomorrow. Love my new pickup. Hope to get an mot for Moffat
Your scull? Why did you hit it with an oar???Only a slight dent in the beam and some paint embedded in my skull

Quick update on my vans.
PICKUP
Removed all the wheels and fitted new tyre. Checked all the brakes. Fitted new washer pump. Cleaned out water system and fitted new fan belt. Greased steering. Refitted spare wheel carrier. Changed plugs point condenser rotor arm cap and air filter. Have front valance to change and check underneath. Still hope to have an mot for Moffatt.
POST BUS
Removed brake master cylinder as the brakes failed on the way home a few weeks age. Still to refit.
AUTOSLEEPER
Welded up holes in the roof and top of side panels as the top of the van was in a bad way. Have removed the full inside of the back of the van to work on the welding. Water tank has been removed. All wheels have been blasted and painted ready for new tyres. Removed most of the dents. Have carried out to much welding to list and am still only above the plimsoll line
