Took Mr J to Tatton park this week we had loads of admiring people who think he is amazing although a few said I should of left him origin.Now he is back on the ramps and I am going to take the propshaft off and get a new one made up.
When he had is last MOT an advisory was for the kin pins to be replaced so I will do this while the car is on the ramps and I am waiting for the prop.
I will keep you all updated with pictures

The whole idea of the project was produce a car that was useable as every day transport - what classic minded person could possibly object to that. It will be seen every day by hundreds of people as it purrs across and back the M62 and give them something to smile about as they trudge along in their plastic lined boxes and probably be cheaper to run than a lot of the modern 'executive' equivalents[^]

And besides i get great pleasure out of all the comments on our fleet like, "good to see one in such mint and original concours condition" and "surely you don't actually DRIVE it on and off the trailer at shows"

makes me raving,its your car do what you like
they should appreciate that transplants like this make sure the car is used and about on the road
ive been modding all of mine for 30 years and always to make them more reliable never to alter the bodywork

Prop shaft taken off again
Why the sad face? well it means that Mr J is off the road and I can't go driving him around.
Taking the prop to North West propshafts tomorrow and then when I get it back Mr J will be like a new car[8D]

Drop the prop off today it will be about a week
So tonight I set about replacing the kin pins
It all came apart a lot easer then I thought it would.
It was a bit messy with about 40 years of old grease & muck everywhere
But all nice and clean now ready for putting back together in the morning
