It was def two different colours you have to join.

I have got a DVD disc full of wiring diagrams but not the right one the hayne manual does not match excatly so making my own as I go along,

Diagram sent hope it does the trick as i think this is the area of the loom where you problem is. You will need to fit the warning lights out the mirror to the loom for the humber so you can see whats going on if you havent got a constant green light on led it wont run the fuel pump or fire up

Got Voltage to Fuel Pump, Got a Spark

Filled the radiator with water put 10 ltrs of petrol into tank, then tried to pime the pump lost the voltage to again [!]
But I know that with Jons help we have solved the problem. It was the immobilizer it must of thought I was trying to steel the old Merc
Got Mr P coming round in the morning and the Humber Super Merc will be running

This has Panky and myself as a loss. The engine starts but as soon as it fires it stops again, the pump runs and there is always a spark

It was a frustrating but educational day:I I think we learnt a lot about the engine and, after a few red herrings, found and fixed a few issues. But even after our best efforts with combine brain power of at least 500GW the flippin thing just won't run:I
