was the 2500 badge fitted to both doors[?] as the deluxe badge on the later vans were only fitted on one side;)

yes the badge got destroyed when the wall fell on the van found half of it but the other half never seen again

i have been trying to get the camper lights working today as in the ones inside the back cant find any signs of wirring or switch ect does any have any advice also thinking of a new exhaust wheres the best deal at for that

The Autosleeper lights usually consist of a couple of flourescents over the benches and round glass ones over the cooker and sink, they all have their own switces on the light fitting. The wiring runs behind the pelmet tucked up in the edge of the roof.
Exhaust - RC40 or similar straight through system[8D]

Thanks Panky, lights are all there as you say do they run of the van battery or do they run of a leisure battery?

If you have a lesiure battery installed, they will run off that. If you cannot find one, they'll either be wired directly into the main electrics (and drain the starter battery if used) or there might be a place for a lesiure battery behind the passenger seat (there was on my autosleeper!).
 
Mine were originally wired through to the main battery but I re-routed them to the leisure battery I installed. When I say leisure battery I actually mean when I nick the Mini's one as a stand-by:I

does the leisure battery charge of the alternator or is independently charged before you use the van ? excuse my ignorance on all this

I fitted a split charging relay, it tops up the leisure battery as you drive once the main battery has charged. It's a vey simple, cheap kit - Just Campers do a very good one.
