I just checked on the DVLA website to see if my old Triumph herald was around - I sold it to part finance the Mini re-build. A young lad from Anglesey bought it as his first classic - it's still going and taxed until November [^]

In the same vein ,I had a Triumph Vitesse when I was 20 which I bought from a scrapyard and rebuilt. I was amazed to see it by chance on e-bay about 2 years ago, it was in Scotland , was sorely tempted to bid for it, whats the chances of that? I miss that too

I miss my Citroen BX GTi - but I'm a bit strange like that:I
I think we've hi-jacked this thread:)

It happens :I, was that the chocolate brown one or am I thinking of something else!? How do you check on previous cars on the dvla site?

No, mine was bright red - real boy (father of two) racer stuff [}:)]

try this link - go to Home then Vehicle Enquiry. Follow the promps and enter the reistration and make, it will tell you the last date of liability (last taxed) if it is still on their database. My BX seems to have gone [V]
