Yet again a great show at Moffat,
Here we are all waiting for the Saturday run
Queuing up waiting to conquer the mighty hill.
We all made it and now relaxing at St Ann's Loch
Back at the camp site Monday morning enjoying a nice cuppa.
Martin, John, Barb, Colin, Helen and Heidi & I had a couple of days at a quite campsite in Annan.
Us lads enjoying the lager left behind by the Franks, Cheers Colin & Alan.
After Annan John, Barb, Heidi & I traveled across to Whitby. We took the scenic route and boy did we find some hills.
John & Barb left for Martins but Heidi and I stayed another night. Jim parked on the harbor front while we climbed the 199 steps up to the Abbey.
On our way home we called at a local garage for some petrol.
It only cost 2'6d a gallon, but unfortunately they ran out in 1969.
Now home safe and sound we covered 550 miles without a hitch.
