Thought I'd start a thread on Marley and after a good look round the van the only real issue was the peak so I cut it off and welded a new one on.:DRegards Chris

I must say the peak was doddle to fit and im no expert ,Martin did a awesome job of it thankyou ,Regards Chris
 
You wouldn't believe the grief I had repairing mine (before any repair panels were available) and I know it will need doing again:I

No need to weld underneath. Fit the inner peak 1st, by spot or plug welding to the upper screen surround. Then spot weld the gutter to the inner peak. Finally spot the edge of the outer roof repair to the gutter and weld the top edge to the roof :)

Hell fire it sounds so easy when put like that, the only problem is that I haven't the foggiest idea of how to weld so leave it to the expertsquote:

Hi all does anyone have a towbar for sale? or would it be easier for me to make one?I need to able to tow a teardrop trailer that weighs around 550KG. Will the engine be able to tow this kind of weight? Regards Chris.

My little Imp tows a trailer-tent that fully loaded is about 550kg so a Commer should have no trouble at all.

Thankyou Rachel he is all in primer now, engine out, gearbox out gonna do the vauxhall conversion I will post pics soon just been flat out building trailers.
