OK today was Dyno day. First run showed up a few issues, the choke wasn't turning off fully so had to be adjusted., the float heights needed adjusting again. Full throttle wasn't possible but Timing was spot on. Idle speed was set to 700rpm and some mixture adjustments were done.
Result was 286.4bhp at the wheels
(336 at the flywheel)
At 4800 rpm with 3/4 throttle.
The throttle linkages need fiddling with as 3/4 isn't enough to open the secondaries fully.
Really happy with the result.

So it's actually got transmission losses of about the same HP as a 1725 puts out at the crank..............cool !
Good results, what thinking at full throttle Over 300?

Argh gutted. If it makes you feel any better I’ve had the fun of helping my mum move house for it to fall through at the last minute. Shortest distance ever travelled by removals lorries ever I reckon. A fun week.
