Lilith the V8 racing Spacevan

New points etc ordered today. Apparently the dizzy I have also fits a Marina.
Fitted the descrete front speakers under the dash. Very similar to tv surround speakers but they are 4 ohm and designed for boat use.

I sorted my garage into 4 piles of stuff.
1. Stuff I`m keeping
2. Stuff I`m not getting rid of.
3. Stuff I might use..one day.
4. Stuff that might come in handy.
 
They should cope well with the Commer water leaks then ;)

Jumped in this morning to go to work. 200 yards down the road. No oil pressure again. Need to fig out why and then flush the engine out and put fresh oil in again.

Probably a good idea to drop the sump and pump to see what's going on.

Don't lose faith! You will get there in the end. I have been there too, big end bearings went in the first year of ownership. Rebored and rebuilt, then my oil pump went. Fingers crossed all my problems have been sorted and there is nothing left to go wrong....how else would I contemplate taking a 40 year old van on a two week trip to France.....in this weather. Keep going pal

Thanks for the support guys. I'm not gonna give up. It won't win. Lol

Found valve. Took it out. Cleaned it. Took filter off. Cranked it over. Got oil from filter housing. Refitted filter. Cranked over. Light went out. Fired up ok. No light. Double dose of oil flush in there. Just running it for 30 mins. Will cool overnight then drain oil n put fresh in int morning.

Summer's Coming
 
Not really. Just felt a bit gritty.

Two oil changes, one with flush. Two gallons of petrol/diesel mix flushed through. Hopefully got the worst out. Just refilled with new oil. 20 mile roadtest. Seems ok at the moment. Will change oil n filter again in a couple of weeks

Another run out today. Get the odd flicker of yellow pulling up to junctions but not too worried atm. Going to order a new valve.
