Of all the jobs that is definitely the one I least look forward to[xx(] I did the last couple of sections when I fitted the new tank, still got to do the wheel arches though:I

Summer's Coming
 
It is messy, dusty and painfull at times wielding angle grinders with wire brush fixed. Electric drills and hand wire brushes. Then getting covered in paint after that. I'm sure it will be worth it. Shame I cant move my shoulders or neck this morning. Ouch.

Then I was given a Genuine BMW E36 saloon detachable towbar. Looks like a good place to start. If I can find another neck I could make a removeable step too!!

My 18yr old is strapped for cash so I just made a deal with him....£10 per arch to prep ready for me to paint! :D[8D]

Underside now rubbed down and red oxided except above gearbox and in the arches. Above gearbox will get done when I swop the gearbox in a couple of weeks time.

nicely done m8, i havent barely touched my underside on dolly yet, i did just order my electronic ignition though :)

Above fuel tank doesnt need doing. It was done when ally tank got fitted.... I hope. Lol. I may even get the electric fuel pump fitted at some piont.
