I love Red Dwarf mate.
MOT........ Pass.!! Couple of advisories. Exhaust blowing but thats getting an rc40 soon.
Didn't cut out after mot. Was wayyy too lean. 0.08 max allowed is 4.50 so I tweaked screw out 1/2 a turn.
Blew an inner tube so had to fit the spare. New tube on order.
I sorted my garage into 4 piles of stuff.
1. Stuff I`m keeping
2. Stuff I`m not getting rid of.
3. Stuff I might use..one day.
4. Stuff that might come in handy.

Strange fault this, I have had 3 Commers with the spade terminal coming off the brake switch and blowing the main fuse when it touches earth!

Shame. Would need to search for a gearbox too then. It's just a thought. Would be nice to have the V8 noise. Would possibly be more economical than the 12-15MPG I currently get.
Will make up my own exhaust system for the standard engine. There is always next year....

An SU conversion is a lot cheaper than a V8 install but won't sound quite as good:I

Going to have a play with the exhaust and carb etc. V8 next year.......maybe.
There is a Rover P6 3.5 v8 with all ancills and autobox on ebay at to moment. It's in Essex though. But there is the overdrive 'box up in the lakes.
Decisions.
Booked in for the camper interior fitting in a few weeks.........
