thanks Steve. That mod was planned but need to save for a pump.
thought about the heat reflective wrap for the pipes but a pump is cheaper!!

Welding nearly done. Osf load floor repaired. Had to repair chassis member and reweld rear of arch back onto chassis before I could plate the chassis.
Electric fuel pump ordered.

late night at it last night. A few small issues ready to sort. MOT booked for Saturday morning. Current one runs out on Friday.

Summer's Coming
 
Hope so. The Summer is nearly here.

Welding seems to be taking forever. As much as I enjoy it, everytime I do a repair I find 2 more!!
Onwards and upwards. May even be able to upload some pics if the kids ever finish their homework!!
Fuel pump arrived today. Nice compact little unit with it's own strainer. Want to get that on but welding needed first. May have to delay MOT into next week.

All MOT fail-able welding now done. A few more bits to do before the interior is done.
No brake lights atm. Need to look at switch and wiring tonight.

It's originally a hydraulic switch on the drivers side of the engine compartment, but many have a micro switch retro-fitted under the pedal.

It was unplugged!!. Tightened up the spade connector and reconnected it. Job done in 2 mins.

I was expecting wire chasing and replacing so brought all my gear home from work. Too longer to get it out of my toolbox than to find the fault. Plenty of beer was consumed afterwards.

Well here we go. En route to work now for the MOT.
Smoke me a kipper I'll be back for breakfast.

You deserve two kippers skipper but smoking them makes the papers all wet and you have trouble lighting them;)
