Lilith the V8 racing Spacevan

Can't wait to get it back here. Still loads to do though. Really hoping to get it on the road for the spring
 
It's been a few weeks since the last update. But the van is now lowered from the stands with the engine just sat into the hole.
I love this pic that Christine posted of her and Tim.

Just bought a pair of mgf cloth seats from ebay for the grand total of........ 99p!

Don’t you just love logo’d vans. Very cool indeed. You even have a chance of finding some early pictures of it in action, working delivering newspapers in Glasgow.
 
There's a story behind the sign writing, not actually behind the words, and I'm sure Paul will tell you all about it soon;)

Panky is correct. The newspaper is fictional. The van was used in a BBC drama and was sign written for it.
 
Picked the seats up last night. The piping on the drivers one has worn through and the seat bolster is out of shape. Doesn't bother me, I know a place who could repair it for a good price. Still happy with the price lol
