My knowledge of these things is a bit non existant but i thought the SU carb worked on the difference between atmospheric and intake pressure? Wouldnt this just turn the dashpot and piston into a misile? If i had known you could do this with an SU....

This is set up with the blower sucking on the carbs, so it,s exactly the same as a N/A engine. If it was blowing through the carbs things would be different, but still ok with an SU :)

Spent today undoing the last 3 days work [:(!] as the mounts put it too far back by 1" [}:)]
But it,s all sorted now [^]

Engine now bolted in the jig, looks like some panel trimming needed to clear the bellhousing [}:)]
