Katy, Freshly rescued

Had a small setback over winter, I hadn't realised that in the high winds one of the roof screws had pulled loose and was slowly letting water in!
It had caused the bottom of the cupboards to swell and carpet to curl and go mouldy :(
So I took a deep breath and walked away and didn't do anything until March but glad to say I'm back on top and hoping to be something like finished within the next month..... Or so..... Ish!
We've been out and about in her loads just lately and looking forward to a great summer with her.
Will get some pics on over the next few days.

Oh no[:0] Do you think it will go back into shape as it dries out.

It has got better but I'll be taking them out and trying to put it right as soon as I get time but for now they don't look too bad and it doesn't affect the doors in any way, I'm just pushing on to get to the point where the four of us can camp in her and I'd like to get to a couple of shows if possible.

The show at killerton house was cancelled on Sunday due to bad weather over Saturday night, so we went Monday instead, apart from a slightly blowing exhaust (crappy thread in manifold!) and a pretty noisy gearbox it was a great day out and I was chuffed with the attention Katy received! :D

Had a really mad week last week getting the rest of the interior put together , just got to get curtains made, new flooring, and the electrics sorting and she'll be ready for our first camping trip! :D
I'll put up with the noisy gearbox until the winter as long as it doesn't throw its toys out the pram!!lol

I'm not surprised that Katy received all that attention, you have done a stunning job creating a unique van! It just goes to show that you don't need a rat look and to drop the suspension to within an inch of the ground.

Really is nice that scott. These sort of mods usually really spoil a carvan in my opinion but you've nailed it right on the nail for me

some more interior shots if you get the chance:D , good you fixed the damage had me worried after all that work you put in .

It's been a mad mad few weeks trying to get the van sorted and it's coming together nicely I think pretty much there for the first camping trip.
Gas all hooked up, electrics in and working, roman blinds done, new vinyl flooring in the back and cab, bunks in....... And much more.

Bring on the summer!! :D can't wait!

Just got to hope the old motor and running gear holds out while the coffers replenish ready for some winter work ! [xx(]
