i've done that on my commer but put it in the rear in one of the seats. used a heater matrix from a nova and some pc cabinet fans (really quiet), makes all the difference. helps the engine stay cool and helps me stay warm. Inspired by this http://www.xor.org.uk/unimog/mymog/waterbox.htm

Sorry I can't help with the spam stuff, in fact I'm pretty rubbish when it comes to webby things (my website was my only really attempt and that's just a blog now!) I'm more of a physicist/programmer and only really learn stuff that is relevant to the job I'm currently doing!

It didnt so much cut out as degrade according to the metre. Also unless exterior mounted I dont think theyd catch many rays in a commer

Like the idea of central heating, might get away without the pump given how low doen the exhaust is and that warm water rises.
Project for next winter perhaps.

TV detector has a second heater matrix behind the drivers seat. Hot air is then blown round the rear I have a spare, so may fit it in another van
