Not that difficult probably, as there aren't many of these around.. Yeah, deal is struck and now it needs a good home - and a good "winter home" in England. Not taking it over here until the spring, at least that is the plan. In good nick generally, but all these have their bad bits. This one too.. !

Not to mention my other '65 Bluebird, but we'll take that some other time. My only justified good feeling about that one was saving it from the crushers. That's at least something, right?

It's identical (although 5 berth as opposed to 4 berth), but sadly in a VERY different condition [V]

just spent a couple of days installing a big valve ,high compression head :p after some minor adjustments it now goes well off the clock on the flat [^]:p[}:)]:D i love it when a plan comes together [:eek:)]

its a mgb1800 head with .090" skimmed off, i have opened up and polished the chambers but thats it for now as i need the van daily.
i also have an o/d box now but time to fit it is short :(

i think it tops out about 85-90, by then its run out of gearing, not steam :p

just spent a few days installing an overdive box from a mg, bit of a mission to marry up the gear linkages, and as you can see the speedo cable is now 2" too short [:(!] but wow :p works a treat [8D]

well joe lucas has been fired from measley 34 amp at best (non)charging duties [^] it now sports a bosch 115 amp alternator from a xj6, 14.3v at tickover :p and now negative earth too. it took some figuring out but i got there in the end [8D]
ha!,i laugh in the face of flat batteries now :D

spent a nice afternoon wallowing in gear oil [xx(] changed the diff from a 4.87 to a 4.31 :p test drive reveals a major improvement [8D]
i must have all your luck this w/end panky :I
