HFB 287G Lulu and her history

I'm on Windows 7 and it's just the same - it's photobucket that's the problem.
Sometimes the IMG code doesn't copy for me either when I click on it so I just swipe across it and copy:)

Now I'm using Apple I find I have to click on the thumbnail to enlarge it, then right click and select 'copy image address' then just paste it to the forum in-between the 'image' things (img) '''paste pic here'' (/img)

Woolfy you are restoring my faith in human nature by what you have done in just 3 months, taking into account that she was at Sherburn for over 2 years at a cost of £13935.80 [}:)][V][:(!]

Well I'm back on the computer, I got a nasty message telling me something was wrong and it turned out the hard drive was dying
so it's been a new hard drive and upgrade from Windows XP to Windows 7 but so far I'm not impressed but I suppose I'll get used to it. Hopefully here's another couple of Woolfy's pictures.

Hi David, no the decimal point is in the right place, I've paid Woolfy another £2000 since then but I've no problems with that.
The total amount that I have paid is £25575.80 although I'm expecting to recover about £9000 of that.
The other figure is what I have found out about the cost of the van from new as a rolling cost just to show how much a van can cost over it's whole life. There are some costs that I haven't been able to find yet things like when she was last restored and some of the prices when she has been sold but the figure that I have is £29567.87.

He means that's what the van has cost in total from when it was 1st purchased....there is a break down on page 1 of this thread ;)

I have paid a total of £25575.80. This includes buying the van, having it transported to Sherburn, the amount I paid at Sherburn, then having it transported down to Woolfy's at Coventry and the amount that I have paid Woolfy who I might add seems to be doing an excellent job.
The figure of £29567.87 is the total that I have paid plus the cost of the van when she was a new baby in 1969 - £1462 plus the price one of the owners paid when he bought her in 2004 - £3800. She has had another 4 owners but I don't know how much they paid for her and she had a complete restoration in the 1990's but I don't know how much was spent on her.
I am hoping that perhaps some of the previous owners will come onto the forum and fill in some of the blank spaces.

"Whistles"
I didn't realise the cost of restoration. I tend to plod on doing bits and bobs where I can. Never thought about the man hours involved in a full resto.
