Weather permitting, I will take my gas BBQ up to the site on for Saturday evening. Fancy dress is entirely up to you, not sure who we are going to be scaring sat in the middle of a field?

If the weather proves to be somewhat inclement, we might have to try the new curry house in the village, but until numbers are confirmed, it will be hard to make a booking. Let's see nearer the weekend.

¡Me cago en la leche! Yo no soy loco (ni estoy), sino un poco excéntrico, :)

Well, I don't want to be a merchant of doom, but it looks like we're in for a cold weekend. Just looked on the BBC website, and it going to be below 10 the whole of the weekend and Friday night it will get down to 0 degrees. Make sure you bring those electric blankets and heaters! I didn't bother fitting the electrical hook up in Jog, seeing as he's going to have a bit of a refurbishment over the winter, so I will freeze my *****s off. Mind you, I have got a plan B.

Plan B for Baz - you can top an tail to keep warm;)
I just got my interpreter on the last phrase - the first few words are kinda interesting, something about making love to cow juice:I

Baz plan b not going to happen.

"me cago" is nothing to do with making love, but another bodily function. I'll explain Friday when you head south to escape the winter onslaught.

Not quite, but Andy's plan B is likely to be copied by me!

Had some really bad news earlier this week which made my attendance this weekend doubtful but much better news today means I'll be there from tomorrow. See you then!

Looking forward to seeing you guys tomorrow.

If anyone is coming down the M1 from up north, you're best to come off at J14 for Milton Keynes, and then following the a4146 towards Leighton buzzard, and then the b488 which goes to ivinghoe. Further south in the M1 and you'll end up in road works before you get to Dunstable, and then Dunstable is a nightmare to get through.

If coming along the M1 from the south, come off at J9, and take the A5 north, and just after markyate follow the signs for whipsnade safari park and when you go past it, turn right and then left at roundabout, and the you are on the B489 that will take you past the campsite.

Have. Good trip

A

Unfortunately due to the events of the last few days and the fact that jan has to work on saturday, we won't be able to make the week-end but will try to visit on sunday.
Also it will give me a chance to purge the £30's worth of BP ultimate..........diesel :I:I:I[V][:(!] i inadvertantly put in my van tonight:I:I[xx(] Hopefully we will get to see you's one way or another.

back to my "rootes"

Hope to leave Yorkshire about mid day- We are expecting snow up here! -so hope it waits until after I leave. Have bought a Comet mini oil filed radiator 700W for about £29.00 anticipating it might just get a little chilly.
Will bring plenty of eggs for breakfast-chickens still laying about three eggs a day.
Have a safe trip everyone. Mike

ps- Has anyone thought of contacting the local paper (it used to be the Dunstable gazzette when I was there in the 70's) It could make a good story -and photo- If we all arrive at the factory site in convoy! Come to think of it the local TV might be interested as well!

Hi Mike

Have a safe trip down. I don't think it's going to be as cold as up north, but it's going to be around 2 degrees overnight here tomorrow.

I did consider contacting the local paper, but I think it's probably a bit on the late side to do that now. Maybe another time?

Regards

Andy
