Hi to the usual gang, (You know who you are!)
Need a bit of help please.
Problem: When starting in neutral, the engine turns over as if it were (partly?) in gear, but it is definitely in neutral. The van tries to slowly move forward as the engine turns over slowly. If you dip the clutch (even though you are still in neutral) it starts easily. Once started, in neutral, the van remains stationary until it gradually appears to fully disengage. Once started you can change gear ok and drive. But when you try to start in neutral again, the same things happens. The clutch reservoir is full.
Could it be the clutch thrust bearing? (Clutch plate and bearing only done 200miles..
Any ideas?
Cheers, Ray
