Gas?

Some of my burners are orange flames rather than blue...are the jets just a bit blocked? will they just burn clean if I leave them on for a while?

if you google it , it states blue flame good gas/air mix orange flame more gas than air mix and its not burning the methane properly:( dont know if this helps though:I

probably down to the fact it has not been used for such along time:( why not give it along burn with plenty of ventilation and see if the pipes clear themselves[?]

Will the burner lift out so you can clean it? some burners unscrew. Incomplete combustion usually caused by not enough air mixing with the gas, or to much gas.

oops, didn't see this thread and made a suggestion in "Tigger's Bouncing".

I recommend you give the jets and burners a blast with a steam cleaner.

The fridge works fine on gas but i want to be able to run it on electric too...the fridge has 2 wires, am I right in assuming one is for a live feed via a switch and fuse box and the other is just an earth??

If it's 12v then it should be wired into the leisure battery cicuit. I think that should have its own earth running back to the leisure battery.

Did a quick Google and found this, so the leisure circuit does use the chassis as an earth:I
Now I know[8)]
