We got back..........JUST>
Getting a tad chuffed off now. Within a mile of leaving the meet a duck decided to fly into us. Thankfully though, no damage, other than to our hearts! We thought you were all throwing bricks at us for leaving early. Chris/Tim - it'll still be there for a sunday roast if you want it

.
Then a further 2 miles and the we started sounding like admins v8 - but not as intentional nor as

. Lost for words we plouged on. We even managed to get over 38 mph downhill [

!]

.
It was such a struggle and i guess we could of caused more damage limping home, but cara had work. We barely spoke to each other, a knowing look to each other was all we managed. Fontaine is clearly a selfish madam. Tim has worked so so hard on her, we all have and.....words cant describe it. We thought it was the exhaust blowing- it was that pop pop poping noise i mentioned tim, it just zapped all power. I've just taken her for a drive and when she starts making that noise i need to take my foot off the accelarator and pull the string. Then pedal down and shes alright.
Feeling alot more positive again now. I think we are going to hunt for a manual carb, accelarator cable and hope that that will be the end of it!
Thanks for all your help over the weekend, as alway we are indebted to you all, especially Fontaines Guardians Tim and Chris.
P.s, as i just turned into the drive a car went passed with SBH in her number plate. Bizzare.
