Are there? Oh how ace. We should all meet up for a drink somewhere so vans can chat. I've not seen anyone on the road local, weird isn't it!!! See you on Saturday Zena

Zena, where abouts in the county are you? I can't recall seeing another one locally, well apart from swampster's, but then he only lives round the corner!

We are in Leonard Stanley, but very often use it to come Gloucester way on a weekend for a potter. They are real fun vans and can't wait to see everyone next weekend and nosy in different conversions.

Spooky. My mate lives in Kings Stanley and we tend to use his place for vehicle tinkering, usually ending up in the George in Frocester!

Shame I can't make next week, would probably of been a bit of a rush, got the carb, exhaust and fuel tank sender off at the mo to sort a few niggles.

Well if I ever find a tax exempt, 4 birth with a side door like Ruperts I might do you a deal! ;)

I probably couldn't afford it Ian:) .......I'm looking at another Car Camper this weekend, not a PA but has potential and needs some work....(don't they all)...

Rupert's van is a Maidstone, Woolfy has one he is restoring, but I'm not sure if he has sold it and doing the work for a customer or not...I think it's a diesel..

Anyway, it's time you started a new thread in Readers Rides[8D]

Have you got it running nicely yet??:)

The ready made bed in the car camper is a brilliant layout, and a genius bit of design. But in the family practicality stakes a side door would mean we could put a bike rack on the back, which would be a bonus!

I'll start a readers rides thread and bring you up to date, good luck at the weekend!

A side door gives you far less usable space though :)

I'm sure I saw someone selling a swing out bike rack for commers?

The rack was custom made.and fits onto the rear hinges on the back doors.it is on a hingeso that you can swing it open and also remove it.quite a clever bit of kit and I was loo into making a batch but im too busy so we have just this one
