A Commer Too Far [8D]

My second favourite film , had one of the best holidays ever when we did" Hell's Highway " a a few years ago .

Always remember pancakes the size of a platter covered in chocolate and fresh cream :p
 
Ah...my old missus lived there, could see the bridge from the bedroom window...wasn't A Bridge too Far at that point in my life :)

Landed at the drop zone just waiting on the commer fighting it,s way past the opposition ,evacuation plan set for monday

Just Back [8D] came up through Coldstream up the borders road , quieter scenic road and the sun came out :D
Van drove Faultlessly not bad for being laid up outside for a year .
Over drive needs looked at as lorries tailgated me to Ijmuiden where we exchanged Farwell gestures [}:)] German,s .....
Thanks to David and his wife for meeting us in Amsterdam , was a big help as roads were very busy , and had a good look round Amsterdam ,,No I didn't take the wife and daughter TO THAT BIT ...

When David met up with us we asked if there was an alarm or immobiliser fitted ,,,no put the keys in the ignition and the town Nuclear alarm went off....Quickly paid David and we were off sirens still ringing ,,never forget that .
Apparently they do this every month ,
Next step mot : change lights , look at brakes , binding a wee bit fix fuel sender .
Great trip , found the pancake shop again :)
