We had three days of camping with the Commer.
When we where planning of leaving the fueltank played up again, even after having it flushed two time the fuel line was blocked again a didn't want to start. So removed the tank again and then it ran like never before. Time for a nice alloy one
Tank is being removed this weekend to look at the earthing problem.
It is amazing how much fun the Commer is giving us, even when it's on our drive. Our Children keep on playing in it with there friends, using it as a shop or to sleep in it on our drive. One of the best cars I own.
just looking back on this thread with regards to the upgrading of the tyres - Because the Dog is a big heavy coachbuilt it has commercial tyres rated at 65psi - I wonder what effect they would have on a lighter standard sized commer?
Removed the tank today, sender unit was lying on one of the inner alloy barriers, reason why it was reading 1/2 scale all the lowest turned anti-clockwise a few screwholes, works fine now. Simple job.

I love that your kids have so much fun in the van, it's what future memories are made of[^]
Indeed, only did two real camping trips in it the last 2 years (planning to do more this summer!!)but it is being used so much (for playing, eating, sleeping all on the driveway) and everyone is enjoying it. Rally great fun these Commer's.
