what psi ? radiator cap have you got higher the better just put a 15 on The Colonel because he keeps throwing up from the over flow pipe :I fingers crossed that's all that's wrong

If I top the rad up to just below the filler neck it will blow the coolant out until the level is about 1/2" above the core, and it stays there

I do that too but he spews to below the core [V] I think the new cap might be 21 psi

Currently a 9 LBS cap.

The level used to settle to around Panky's, I think, but now continues down past the top of the core and onwards with no noticeable leaks and no drips anywhere[V]

but bought it from local motor factors took the old one with me.

Had a good look at the water pump today...

Showing a fair ammount of play in the fan blade a little bearing noise and no water leaking/dripping[^]
What swung it for me was being hit in the camera/face on start-up by a fine MIST[xx(]:I

Funny you should mention the radiator, Andy, because we dropped on this unused and dusty one at Weston Park last week, measured up not identical, but will fit if needed.
