As the smow seems to be hanging round and the workshop is stupidly cold I thought I would do something about it. I brought a parafin heater the other day from an farmer who had it fitted in his big farm house. After I stripped it all down cleaned it and re painted all the insides with heat proof paint.
After i had a big move around to make a place for it with stuff everywhere
I fitted the flue in and had it goin for a while but it just didnt feel hot enough! lol
I added a feed pipe to use waste oil gravity fed from the loft
I decided to try turboing it
One to get it hotter and to to make it burn super clean,which it does Once its up to temp there is no smoke at all. I made a conecting piece and put a tube inside the burner to fit my heat gun on but set it to blow cold. It worked a treat, but needed something more permanant,thats were it had to contain a bit of commer so I used a commer heater blower and fixed it to the wall next to the flue.

Needed a better way of controling the flow of oil so came up with this
Its that hot in the workshop now you dont need your coat on
A commer with even bigger boost will be appering on a screen near you soon!
