As the Snowdonia tour was a big success...and just in case we do decide to do the 700mile plus trip..... where and what time are the 'Southern Contingent' meeting up to convoy up to Commerland?
 
Well, there's an A1 Commervoy thread on here somewhere. I'm planning on leaving 0900-ish (I think with Andy and Babs) on the 30th July and perhaps meeting any others from the London/SE area at South Mimms Services before heading up the A1.

We are going up from SE. Little Stan doesn't do hours stuck in a van in hot weather so we are going up over two days we reckon, staying near Rutalnd Water on thursday night just down from the Ram Jam Inn where I think Scot/comm-dom/comm-pete has organised a meet up point for the A1 Commervoy on the other thread for the Friday. I guess all the details will get sorted nearer the time:D:p
 
That sounds better... IF we do go. It is a bloody long way away!?

There must be others who may drive up from the SW and West... up the M4, M5??

Why wouldn't you go? There will never be another 50th bash!, you will only regret it if you don't...getcha tickets ordered:D



 
Sorry....... have thought about it and we are not going. It is just too far I'm afraid[V]... 700+ miles. Not to mention the fuel cost![:0] She only did about 23 mpg when we went to North Wales... (someone do the maths please??)

Maybe the 75th will be down this way!?:)
