I have just realised that on the Sunday 1st August, is the annual HCVS Trans Pennine Run This is quite a spectacle to see. If there is plenty of interest, our Sunday run could be to the meeting at Harrogate. I can try to make a block booking, but must do this by the weekend.
It's a 25 mile run from here, so people could disperse from there, or anyone wanting to stay another night, can leave on the Monday.

i have sad news im affraid folks. i was hoping to get to come and gather around the camp fire with you lot at this meet as always, but due to too many other vans on the go for other people who also would like to go im never gonna get my own van on the road. its just been sat there for the last three or four months collecting dust. so i wont be coming , as i cant bare to come to another meet without my own ride, it embarrassing. even if i managed to get the panel van fully paneled up and into primer i just wouldnt have enought time to do all the other bits like brakes and clutch etc etc. so im going to have to bow out on this one im affraid as i just would not have enough time and hands on my body to achive the impossible. im sure you will all have a great time though and try to make this the biggest gathering yet.[xx(]

nah its not the same is it. ive had to do that and sleep in the front of the van for the last three or four meets now. and you get a bit down when you see all the other vans in the commervoy and your in ya work van.bummer really. never mind i might be ready next year.[?][xx(]
