Not as yet no. I'm waiting for Tim to call me so he can tell me what to do;-) He's not said he will fit a new one, just going to have a look for me i think? Oh, and to see if it's just the hydrolics that are Kaput?

Well Chris and Tim have just left bless them.
Unfortunately Duke's clutch is shot. Tim tried all he could to get it sorted but to no avail. So it's a call to a garage on Monday morning However, it was REALLY nice to see you both and a pleasure chatting and eating cake with yas ( Even though i don't eat cake ) Plus, Duke had a nice bath before they got here which he was hugely happy about, i wanted him to look smart for when uncle Tim and Auntie Chris came to visit. Thankyou so much guys for taking a look for us, we appreciate it immensely

it's a gearbox out job Jon, having done mine it's not too bad, but with diy tools and lack of experience it's a BIG job, probably a clutch clinic type place it's a couple of hours tops

We,re back and have unloaded the folder at the barn [^]
It seems to be a problem with either the thrust bearing or the pressure plate [V] no amount of cake fiddling sorted it [xx(]

Thanks for all the well wishing guys;-) Colin, this clutch you are willing to get shot of ( Very kind of you by the way ) I guess it all depends how much flesh is left on the plate itself? I wonder if you could maybe send a pic to Tim of the plate and let him determine if it would be worth putting it on? Piggy bank can stretch but always up for saving a few quid;-) I guess the right thing to do is to replace the lot new anything's worth a go! I'm going to call the garage in the morning and see what they say but i'd much rather pay Tim to do it if it's financially viable for him to do so. We'll see. Plus, i wouldn't need to get it towed anywhere which would be a big bonus;-) Thanks for the offer Jon mate;-)
