Chris's new ride

Hi Debs,
Got my van with Lynbrook insurance on a classic policy - fully comp with salvage rights and good price - has an option for a second classic and breakdown recovery included - think there is international cover on that too but not sure.

I'm on limited mileage of 2000 a year but there are options for more if you need it. My renewal has just come up and it is £185 for my van and capri combined(van mileage is 2000 plus 5000 for capri). Contact details are 14 New Street, Mawdesley, Nr Ormskirk, Lancs, L40 2QP 0845 130 4662 [email protected]
My local broker deals with mine for me. Only drawback I have found so far is that your no claims discount is not counted so lapses after 2 years.

Good luck with Skye, enjoy :)

This is what commers are for....

hic (herts insurance company)pretty good on campers, hope you feel better soon, mine was 101gbp + 75 breakdown cover 3000 miles but not insured at night cos it's not in the garage!personal items ins etc etc...studiocommers sounds like my sort of policy,do they have to be in the garage??

As far as I know it is o.k. to park outside, just becomes higher premium, but not sure- mine is down as being in a locked shed at night to keep quote down - and we do have a lockable shed, but so far bessie hasn't seen inside yet[:0][}:)][}:)][}:)] I just happen to be camping every night:I. My policy also covers contents I think, and stereo if declared valuable. They also do insurance for basket cases, i.e. if your car is stored in several baskets the parts are still insured. Policy is covered by equity red star through Lynbrook.
If anyone needs details, I'll see if I can find spec and post it up somewhere for reference.

good news I have been driving around the countryside for the last week or just over in "Ran" no overheating no other problems, since putting the flowers on the smiles got bigger [^]absolutely chucked it down with rain today but didn't bother us 'cos the flowers stayed out,got stuck at road works didn't bother us,every one else turned in the road and went back the way the came,we sat tight at the lights & made other people smile even a vw type2 very pretty too.

though of Rans' flowers yesterday, saw a little purple ford Ka that had pink star stickers over it - looked like might have been the same idea as your flowers. Looked funky, but Rans' more effective as look better for being random pattern - looks a bit like a boat that has picked up flowers on the bow going through the water.

Have you converted Ran to be amphibious[?]

"Ran" got a treat today

none going spare [:0] sorry :I was hoping there might be enough to go round, but no [xx(] might not have to use them on "Ran" then no 1 can benefit [^]

I take it the pic's were ok? god you've got good eyesight!!the loom came with an alternator too ;)Tim said to hang onto it though, not sure if no 3 has had its loom removed, started her up today 1st time since i got it,started straight away [^]so it must have one [)].think I did ok with the spares :)

It would be going to a very good cause, wot with lack of government funding etc. etc. Detector is badly in need of one [B)]

"Ran" is poorly spoken to tim he say's the steering problem is relay lever bushes/bearings,but will have to wait to find out whats wrong with the brakes [V]do stapletons still do free health check?
