Chris's new ride

This is probably best described as Autosleepers version of the rock'n'roll bed. To replicate it would be difficult, would be best to try and source one from a dead [xx(] camper, or someone who has had enough of 'numb bum' syndrome. I'm hanging on to mine cos it looks gooooood [8D]

hi guy's,thought you might like to see "ran" before paint...the 1st 9 pic's http://aolpictures.aol.co.uk/galleries/ccybermum doesn't she look naked, hope for the other two yet [^]

good to find this thread:D - am amazed how similar ran is to bessie inside. Bessie has also been owned by a gadget nut so has big banks of switches above windscreen, but nowhere near the sub-power station you have behind the seats! did you have any luck with switches? - I have a few that don't do anything, provide hours of fun sitting there flicking them to see if anything happens - perhaps that is what they were for - entertainment.
Interesting to see that front seats would have been similar in ran - ones in bessie do fold back to make bed in back bigger but it looks like replacement piece so wasn't sure if it was originally like that.
Keep up the good work, happy flicking[8D]

just got back from my rust in peace adventure [^]i think commers are taking over my life, just need to workout if i can make a living from them,(i think).I only poped out to the shop :Idefinately need an assistant while flicking switches [xx(]not sure still,no.the story will continue as & when.they all seem to have different seating arrangement up front.

that certainly is an interesting flowering commer plant you have found - definitely needs pruning back. Would be great if you could persuade someone to rescue them.

If you do find a way of making money out of commers - I'll be a willing employee:D

you're too kind :I
Come up with a new chat up line
"hey baby, wanna come and flick my switches?"

Tried it on my other half and it nearly dragged him away from the dreaded ebay - so I have do some sympathy for mrs jenningsroadranger[:X]

don't let her see this, she will want one!oh my god i thought i had problems :Dhe :Dhe :Dhe but at least some one has made notes!!all i got was switch behind seat on side of van,but there are three!!

I suppose I'm the only one here old enough to remember Mike Mercury and SUPERCAR. That bank of switches is very reminiscent of Supercar's cockpit :D

SUPERCOMMER?
Had a thought commerchris....we'll have to re-label switches James Bond style - machine gun,oil slick, flamethrower etc.Your one behind seat perfect for EJECTOR SEAT in big red letters[)]

passenger seat ejecter for my son [}:)] quite funny you say about ejecter seat pulled the kids legs many a time over "Whats that switch do?" [?]which one behind the seat though [?]

your not the only one who remembers supercar panky, wasnt there a monkey in that program aswell, and they all had big eye brows aswell.;):p

actually whilst we are on the subject of puppets from back then, who remembers fireball XL5.if your really clever you will be able to tell me who the space ships driver was and how the theme music went to the program.;):p

Steve Zodiac and the theme was Venus in Blue Jeans, And I bet I'm drunker than U Mr PF. And the monkey was Mitch, his mate was Jimmy and Profesor Popkiss came along for the ride [)]. The cute animal interest in XL5 was Zooney [^]
