was a shame i had to go but was a nice day and i injoyed the drive there and back

Sadly mine went from bad to worse from friday night onwards.
Started to reassemble the doors[:0]found that i couldn't get the opening mechanism in with the window and runners installed [!]!.so out it all came, start all over again :ISo long since i took them apart i'd forgot the order i stripped them down.Spent 5hours on just 1 door[V][V].Getting tired[|)],put it all away and start afresh tomorrow(saturday).Drivers door a doddle only takes 3 hours (aggro with weatherstrips). Mate comes round and helps me hang the doors, (hooray their on[^][^]).I'll just wack the heater and airbox in, won't take long!NOT SO LIKELY [!]New socket head bolts need a 1/8 allen key look everywhere, every size but, get nearest oversize and file it down,Great. Get box all bolted up yee har!check operation bolts too long won't let the flap close fully, baa humbug, take 'em back out cut them to correct size and refit.great flap works as it shouldbolt up heater ,cant find the bolts[xx(]waste more time searching,eventually find them and fit heater.phew! [^]If i could spend more time working and less time looking for stuff i think it would be almost finished:I Just check every thing and take for MOT..............
Nooooo,front side lights not working and horn won't make a murmer, turns out i had removed the bulbs and given them to my son who's car seems to eat them.Still can't make the horn work[!][!][!]by now its gone 8o/c, never mind i'll go up to Cambridge on the Daytona tomorrow.
Sunday morning,wake up look at clock,oh no 10.20am rush around doing stuff, put mobile on charge as nearly dead,get bike out and check over just a bit of air in the tyres and will be away,2 phone calls just as leaving, Get to junction 12 now where do we go? wheres the bit of paper with instructions,aarrgh on the table at home.never mind can remember some of what Chris told me needless to say i missed the turning got caught up with loads of cyclists,went back to the garage and found the signs goes down the lane and can't see anyone.
The farmer bloke comes to see who's riding a noisy motor bike up down
where's the commers i ask?they've all gone says he. OK i'll phone Chris,search in bag go through pockets,wheres the damm phone.
I'll bet you can guess:I:I:I:I.
Oh well it was good to get out and give the bike a run.

Trev we passed some off those cyclists on the way to swavesey for the steam fair commervoy style,we did go back to site after that, what time where you there? Lanceolot arrived just as we were about to leave too.

Sorry you missed us all Daytona, and had a rubbish weekend...
We bumped into a load of the cyclists too, when we were searching for a safe place to stop, nr royston?? Then Smurf just gave up and stop right in the middle of the rd outside the service station lol...So aaron and i had to get out and push lol trailer and all.. My god she's heavier than she looks... That was the only time we had to push her though, over times she stopped in a more convienent location

Oliver was cool, he got really chatty by the end of the weekend. We get on better with three year olds than most adults! Friends with 3 yr olds and people with Commers.....christ, what does that say about us!!
