Is Jamo starting then? If so I hope he has a good game, when he's good he's brilliant. He also knows how to arrange his defence, big man, big voice.

That's quick Martin;-)

Yeah James is starting. Watched all the games today and the best by far was the U.S.A game again. They played a belter. England really have to pull it off tonight otherwise it's hometime!!!

Well, that went as I expected, nothing to write home about.

I love all 4 wheeled vehicles, irrespective of age, (apart from Mondeos and Focus').

Very very average, Jamo did OK though.

Yeah, he handled himself well. I don't see why everyone's making such a big deal of the goal Green let in though, name one goalkeeper who's never had the ball come off his glove and carry on into the net. The other night the pundits were all admitting he was unlucky, tonight when he was dropped, it was suddenly an absolute howler.

At least Beckham, for all his private life faults played with pride and heart. People like John Terry and Ashley Cole have really turned me off this world cup. I was in Germany four years ago though and the atmosphere of a world cup was amazing....

You really shouldnt have painted that st georges cross on your shed tim its taking things a bit far;)

You're right about Green's gaff, they've all done it. Apparently he made a few more in training from quite simple shots from Ray Clemance which is why he was dropped. Also (apparently) the defence prefer to have Jamo behind them.

It was **** wasn't it! Gareth Southgate seems to forget what a howler he made a few years back. How can it be that all we can muster is a draw against the worst team in our group??? It's becoming very difficult to back England's bid when they give us back that!!!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHA!!!

im a west ham man through and through, and robert green was very unlucky the first game against the yanks, people seem to forget about the bloody good saves he made in the qualifyers leading up to the world cup and too earn his place in the squad. you only have to look back at the last world cup to see some of the howlers that david james made and cost us valuble points and games. the trouble with england is they should just put up and shut up, and get out there and play the football as if it were an every day saturday fixture, like what we are all use too, end to end stuff, not all this boring as **** back passing in your own half, and then lob it up the other end of the pitch hoping that someone will get on the end of it crap, because chances are it will be someone else who gets on the other end of itand not one of or own players.[}:)][xx(][:(!]

Big Bad Woolf

My thoughts entirely Woolfman. That passing ****e mostly has no success. It doesn't work at international level i don't think! That game with the U.S.A should have taught us something but it didn't. The American's made use of every ball they got whereas England just lamped it up the pitch to the goal mouth where they expect Rooney to stick his toe out and tap it in! Not so lucky England. Better start playing football on Wednesday methinks!

Apparently when you look at goalkeeping errors that have led directly to goals over the last 12 months Green comes out worst, followed by Jamo and Hart had the best record. As the Yanks would say, "Go figure!"

Here's a good omen though. The other week Christian O'Connell on the Absolute Radio (AR) breakfast show challenged listeners from the countries in our group to play him and his producer at table football.

England/AR v USA - the USA won (In the real game we did better and drew)
England/AR v Algeria - Algeria won (In the real game we did better and drew)
England/AR v Slovenia - England won: So hopefully we will do better in the real game and thrash them!

Yeah, all right! We can hope can't we?
