mini van is the last they ever made 1983, its for sale, it is a runner but totaly standard, it aint runnin as i aint done the fuel lines nore the brakes as anyone who buys it will wonna put thier own engine choice in aswell as the brakes as there are so many choices out there, riley elf dash not painted in piano black gloss and porsche 911 seats, anyone interested ? it is british ! lol

crazy bastard ! but i love it ! ! ! a mate of mine has got a mini and he's runnin VVT engine, they clocked him round rockingham at 165mph with a official in the car and they stopped goin any faster ! lol they got a good vid on the phone on the motorway behind a scubi flashin him to get out the way and when he did they past him .. the blokes face was a picture ! lol
dunno if anyones interested,but i got some of the commer stuff from the camper for sale, i will let you guys have 1st grabs before i put the stuff on ebay i got the roof glass, both big side glass panels, rear door, read glass left and right, the sink, stove and fridge, i did not check to see if they worked, but i can test it if anyone is after it ? i did have the complete roof section but the wind blew it over when i was carrying it n it broke big time !

Because there old and super slow in standard trim[8D] Every commer needs a little pep up at least for the roads of today. Why not use some modern tech to make things better and improve. Yes mark is going a little extreame in your eyes but why not as his camper was prob going to end up scrapped any way. Im a standard looking body man with a few chillies up the exhaust pipe and some nice wheels myself. But its each to there own on here. Im looking forward to the next few stages of this build where the real work starts

I would hazard a guess and say that is a Dodge with an earlier ID taken from a tax exempt Commer! It has/had! the later CI body that was longer than the early version which would have been on a tax exempt Commer chassis, yes it has Commer door handles as opposed to Dodge but its not difficult to fit earlier doors but its much harder to fit a later front panel Does`nt really matter though because its just an id and this project is hardly going to be a Commer Camper when finished.....cant wait to see it though!

Well, all we've seen so far is the removal of the camper section, so no evidence of any bodges as yet. If the work is done to a good and safe standard then it won't be a bodge. Unusual? yes. Sacrilage? depends on your viewpoint. I just want to see how it progresses. Open mind and all that......
