46 all the way ! ..... posative pressure ? ski doo's are supercharged 2 stroke as 4 stroke usually are water cooled and no good in the cold ! lol turbo carb works great, but are expensive, suck through method is ok where ya mount the carb on the turbo/supa charger inlet but old hat, but still very effective
 
I thought the 2 strokes were just blown through to clear the cylinder, as it,s very hard to pressurise the crankcases without blowing the seals. Maybe modern tech has caught up [?] may have to investigate that for the T500 ;)

hmmm i see a mini in the background, if i could do the pic thing you'd love my mini van, 2 stroke is vacuum just like 4 stroke, natural induction, as soon as you introduce pressurised air, you get better performance, think about it ... pressurised transfer ports ? ? ? as soon as the port timing shuts you got more that 1 atmosphere of pressure your on a winner, ok yeah ya loose a bit more fuel out the exhaust port but f**k the environment lol !

I guess with reed valves, it works better. Some serious turbo lag there !!!!

Oh we have a MINI-Imp thing going on here, us wise ones love Mini,s :D

check this 1 ... dump valve too ! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R-XX_opy4kQ ya dont need reed valves as your positiv presure ... but ide use them just to be overkill !

It may well do and it's basically the same vehicle but that front end treatment didn't come in until the late 70's Maybe had a new front panel fitted at some point in it's life. Autohome is the converter so not a Devon as you thought:I

actually i said that to the guy i bought it off as i hate the later front ends, and he said the same when he bought it, he looked behind the front end and said he cant find any sign of a new front end going on, but then again if its been done propperly you shouldn't be able to tell anyway, is there a conversion panel to change it or do i have to put a comlete front panel back on ? and can you still buy a older front end ?
